Suction Cup Balance SSCB for Automatic Setup

With the new Suction Cup Balance SSCB, Schmalz has developed both a clamping system with precise positioning for 3D free-form surfaces and a gripping system equipped for automatic setup and simultaneous gripping. The SSCB from Schmalz consists of a robust main body made from aluminum that includes both vacuum and compressed air connections. On the end of the product near the workpiece, there is a flexible bellows suction cup made from wear-resistant Vulkollan and positioning pins with wear-resistant holding material for adapting to 3D geometries.

Vacuum Clamping System Multi-Clamp

With the vacuum clamping system Multi-Clamp, workpieces can be clamped and manually processed. It consists of a Multi-Clamp suction plate as well as the rotation and swivelling unit Multi-Base. The functional mounting on almost every surface by vacuum or mechanically with a screw, enables the application in the plant as well as on sites. The flexible sealing cord allows the construction of individual clamping surfaces. Therewith the suction plate becomes the ideal clamping system for small to medium sized workpieces. The application video shows the simple exchange of the suction plate. On this suction plate the workpiece is clamped by vacuum afterwards. Therewith a slippage during the process is avoided. Due to the rotation and swivelling unit, the assembly process can be done ergonomically.

Vacuum Tube Lifter JumboSprint Ex

The vacuum tube lifter JumboSprint Ex is the ideal solution for handling barrels in explosion-hazard areas. The barrels get to the picking over a man conveyor and are lifted with the help of the tube lifter JumboSprint Ex. Due to the usage of the tube lifter JumboSprint Ex only one employee can transport the barrels. In combination with the column-mounted slewing crane, the vacuum tube lifter JumboSprint Ex offers the complete lifting solution. The suction lifter JumboSprint Ex can be used in explosion-hazard areas and is conform to the European explosion protection guideline 94/9/EG (ATEX 100). All mechanical components are in anti-static realisation with potential equalization.

String Gripper SSG

The string gripper SSG-A is equipped with bellows suction pads that adjust themselves perfectly to the workpiece. The reduced internal diameter of the suction pads prevents parts of workpieces from being drawn in, which prevents the occurrence of any deformation. The elongated sealing lip forms a secure seal even on small areas that are uneven, such as on tab wires. The suction pads are made of the special-purpose material HT1 and leave absolutely no marks on the workpiece. The high suction capacity of the sting gripper is sufficient to handle workpieces safely even if the surface is not entirely covered or if there are leaks. The low weight of the gripper system allows strings to be handled safely, quickly and accurately.
