Crane systems are an important part of any material handling application. JRG has a large variety of cranes to integrate with including jib cranes, overhead cranes, monorails and more. We proudly represent:
From suspension, lifting devices, end effectors and controls, AIMCO Manufacturing has a solution for your application. Diagrams and animations are provided for each section of our product pages. Also, appendices from our Product Line Catalog are included for some of the products discussed. The full Product Line Catalog can be downloaded on the Downloads page.
Please look at some examples of AIMCO's Crane and Suspension systems:
The AIMCO bearing design assures smooth and effortless rotation allowing loads to be moved freely throughout the entire work circle. Additionally, the bearing design allows for custom preloads to be set at the overhead crane’s primary & secondary knuckles. Air or electrical lines are internal to the arms with rotating swivels or collector rings to maintain a continuous 360 degree rotation at both knuckles. Overhead Articulated Jib Crane Capacities range from 50 LBs to 1,600 LBs with radial reaches up to 15 feet. AIMCO Jib Stops are available to restrict overhead crane rotation at the primary and or secondary pivot joint(s).
AIMCO Vacuum Series Articulating Jib with 360° continuous rotation at two pivot joints. Each pivot joint is equipped with Timken tapered roller bearings, pre-greased and sealed, designed to a 5:1 safety factor. End of arm attachment is a clevis bracket intended for integration with a Vacuum Tube Lifter. Vacuum Lines are internal and sealed from pedestal to end of arm. Custom pivot joints are outfitted with radial shaft seals and heavy duty o-rings to perform as a vacuum rotary union. The equivalent cross-sectional area of a 1" or 2" diameter flow path is maintained throughout the jib arm; from the pedestal's inlet, to the end of arm outlet.
AIMCO will integrate all manufacturers' Air Balancers with an AIMCO Articulated Jib Crane. The balancer is nested at the jib's secondary pivot point. The balancer's load cable is routed internally and over a sheave at the end of the arm. Air lines are internal to the arms and coupled with rotary unions to maintain a continuous 360° rotation at the pivot bearings. Capacities range from 50 to 370 Lbs. AIMCO Articulated Jibs are de-rated to capacity of Air Balancer.
AIMCO's Portable Base can be rated up to 444 LBs. (max weight must take tooling into account). Heavy duty brackets are employed in a compression-plate arrangement to fix an AIMCO Lift-Assist System on to an existing building column. This mounting option is fully customizable to fit an I-beam or a round column of any size. Building column strength must be verified by end user. A single or double ear bracket can be designed to fit any hoist trolley on a workstation crane. Clevis arrangement can be fixed to an AIMCO Torque Arm, or an AIMCO supplied air hoist/balancer.

Gorbel® Work Station Cranes are a proven way to improve productivity, increase quality, and provide a safer work environment. Both the aluminum and steel Gorbel Workstation Crane Systems utilize enclosed track that is high in strength and low in weight. With the ability to span up to 30 ft. and lift capacities between 150 and 4000 lbs., our line of ergonomic crane products guarantees increased productivity. Depending on your needs, Gorbel has the workstation cranes that are sure to handle any project. Have a need for some type of customized material handling solution? Call us, we can design a solution to best fit your application.
Gorbel offers superior quality I-Beam Jib Cranes. The easy rotation and optimal standard deflection allow workers to position loads safely and easily. I-Beam Jib Cranes are available in manual or motorized rotation. We also have a full line of Enclosed Track Jib Cranes.
What Type of I-Beam Should I Choose?
• Free Standing Jib Cranes - best coverage / easiest to move solution
• Wall Bracket Jib Cranes - lowest cost / best deflection solution
• Wall Cantilever Jib Cranes - best headroom solution
• Mast Type Jib Cranes - lowest thrust and pull solution
Our enclosed track jib cranes provide excellent coverage in circular areas not efficiently served by a main crane. They're ideal for supporting tool balancers, air balancers, hoists, vacuum lifters, and welding wire feeders. We also carry a full line of I-Beam Jib Cranes to choose from.
Cleveland Tramrail® Patented Tarca® Track Cranes continue to be the benchmark of overhead cranes. We've built a reputation based on quality products, top notch service, engineering experience, and application knowledge. This combination allows us to provide flexible integrated solutions. Cleveland Tramrail's unique Tarca® Track, with its special raised tread and high carbon track, is superior to I-Beams in strength, durability, and consistency. Our rails permit the use of underhung carriers operating on a single straight, curved, or inclined track or operating on two or more straight track runways.

Spanco is the leading American manufacturer of overhead workstation cranes. We welcome challenging projects that require custom crane engineering. We also offer hundreds of pre-engineered lifting and moving solutions, including Workstation Bridge Cranes, Jib Cranes, Gantry Cranes, Monorails, and Tractor Drives.
Please look at some examples of Spanco's Crane Systems:
These strong, portal frame (PF) cranes can be ideal if:
Your building can’t support jib cranes or overhead cranes. PF Gantry Cranes are self-supporting and travel directly on the floor.
Your lifting volume is moderate and can’t justify more expensive, permanently installed cranes.
You need an economical, versatile lifting system to supplement your existing overhead cranes.
You rent your facility; these gantries can be relocated in the future.
Your plant has been “making do” with multiple forklifts. Coordinating too many lifts, especially on heavy or very long loads, is unsafe, inefficient, and time consuming.
A Series Gantry Cranes have greater clear spans because they don’t require four brace legs like our T Series. (Note: if you need the ability to adjust the crane’s tread, see our T Series Gantry Cranes.)
Adjusts in six-inch increments, using spring-loaded steel locking pins that automatically engage when height positioning holes are reached. Adjust heights for specific lifts, uneven floors, or to move through doorways.
Adjustable Spans: Standard on aluminum cranes, optional on steel cranes. Allows crane to be shortened for transport down narrow aisles.
Heavy-Duty Casters: Four-position, swivel-lock casters with moldon polyurethane wheels for excellent floor protection.
Spanco Gantry Cranes come in hundreds of versatile models:
Portable Gantries: Reach all corners of your plant. Lift and move materials, or use for pulling motors, equipment, and other heavy machinery. Quick disassembly for transport by service truck. Series T, A, E and Aluminum.
Adjustable Gantries: Adjust height, span, and tread (T Series) for use on uneven floors, through doorways, aisles, and under mezzanines or other overhead obstacles. Excellent gantries for warehouses and welding shops. Series T, A, E and Aluminum.
Track-Mounted Gantries: For manual or motorized travel over a fixed route.
Relocatable Gantries: Virtually all Spanco Gantries are relocatable, making them ideal for rented facilities or future workflow changes.
Spanco Monorail Cranes are ideal for production processes that require lifting and moving products along a fixed path, such as painting processes, moving raw materials to workstations, or warehouse-to-warehouse transfer.
Our monorails have great layout flexibility, including curves, slopes (to 14 degrees), multiple tracks, switches to multiple spurs, turntables, interlocks, and entry/exit sections. Our overhead monorails can connect to other systems, such as conveyors or workstation bridge cranes.
These economical monorails are an excellent alternative for work areas that cannot be serviced by bridge cranes: hard-to-reach locations, buildings with high ceilings, or—with our freestanding monorails—outdoor areas without existing overhead structures.
